At Shakespeare Composite Structures, we have decades of experience designing and manufacturing tapered shapes - for light poles and antenna radomes, among many other applications. Tapered composite shapes can originate by filament winding onto a heated mandrel or by machining a pulltruded rod or tube as needed. We specialize in machining shapes to exacting specifications, including adding tapers, grooves, even the decorative turns of a classically shaped baluster.
