Shakespeare Composite Structures Transmission and Distribution Utility Poles can be supplied in a palette of standard colors:

Composite Utility Tuff-Poles® have color pigments and UV-inhibitors formulated into the resin during manufacture.  The poles are overwrapped with a non-woven polyester veil fabric - wrapped onto the uncured resin while the pole rotates.  This fabric is soaked with pigmented polyester resin bearing UV inhibitors.

After curing and cooling, the pole receives a protective coat of our proprietary pigmented polyurethane.  As with our Engineered Composite Light Poles, this high-performance, polyurethane coating bears UV inhibitors for additional protection from sunlight.
