Shakespeare Composite Structures makes it easy and economical to add capacity to existing poles. The Composite Tuff-Top Pole Extension. The innovative extension bonds a section of our strong, 5 x 5" pultruded composite Tuff-Pole to a heavy galvanized steel bracket, extending your existing poles' height by up to 20 feet.

In industry-standard engineering testing, our Heavy Duty Tuff-Top Pole Extension withstood a 5,000 pound pull in Load Direction A and a 4,000 pound pull in Load Direction B. The extensions are available in three strength ratings to meet your needs: Standard, Heavy, or Extra Heavy Duty. The extensions will support crossarms and high load capacities, and are adjustable to fit poles of 6 to 10" diameter (19 to 31" circumference).
