Shakespeare Composite Structures Lewtex® composite crossarms bring proven strength and durability to your most demanding applications. Our extensive testing program includes industry-standard beam testing, as well as extended UV testing. Our tangent crossarms also undergo advanced, Tangent Eccentric Load testing. These tests result in data that are valid for the whole system, including the mounting hardware and the brackets, not just the crossarm, a far better indicator of real-world performance.

Our crossarms are created on highly-sophisticated, computer-controlled pultrusion equipment for maximum repeatability and quality control. We take a systematic approach to UV protection, and formulate UV inhibitors into the resins from the beginning. Our crossarms receive an added veil of UV-inhibitor-saturated fiberglass, plus a coating of our proprietary polyurethane. Our accelerated testing proves the result: a crossarm that can easily handle what nature dishes out - for decades.
